Up until 2016, I viewed the orchestra as rather outdated and the conductor as a silly figure waving a wand self-importantly.
Then I got selected to perform a TED talk,
and one of the gentlemen presenting at the same conference
blew my mind.
He was talking about the lessons in leadership he's collected by being an orchestra conductor, and it was funny, lighthearted, and deeply moving. The analogies ran deep and stood as perfect examples of the real power needed to be a strong leader and as we wrap up 2018 and get ready for 2019, I took time to watch this one again because the reminders are SO needed, and I thought you might enjoy checking it out on one of your lunch breaks this week as well!
P. S.
We're hanging out at a 2-day business leaders retreat in January that is definitely a must-attend for those of you serious about making business growth happen this year and registration closes on December 21st! Get more info here!
